Centaury
is for those who might be described as a 'willing servant' or
a 'people-pleaser'. They have great difficulty saying NO to any
request, and feel obliged to try to help out in every situation
they meet without thinking whether this is really the best thing
to do. They can let others with more robust personalities take
advantage of them, and are so involved with giving help that they
can lose track of their own path in life. In consequence they
often develop other states of mind and body - such as resentment
or exhaustion - for which additional remedies are called for.
They are highly sensitive people, easily hurt, and upset by any
form of disharmony. The remedy helps them to set firmer boundaries,
to strengthen their own power of will and cultivate their own
individuality.
